Fishing, Foreign Language, and Fun Finds

For some reason, he really likes to fish for letters when we do spelling.  He used to cast out an imaginary fishing line, but this game (Polar Bear ABC) has a fishing rod.

He's learning to write Chinese characters at his Montessori school.

Today we pronounced each Spanish word and then found its match.

Library Events - Preschool Game Time

I'm having a ball.  Children are learning.  Parents and children are spending time together.  We get to play games and hang out at the library.  People are learning about my library, and I'm starting to see some income from this project.  We had 52 people participate in a recent preschool game time event!

We are having fun with some new games.  Equals is a fun way to practice math operations.  All the King's Men is similar to but easier than chess.  Bumparena lets the kids design a track for bouncy balls.
